I love Google Maps as well; the Street View feature has improved so much lately I feel impressed every time I take a virtual stroll along my beloved London streets :-)
I've also stumbled on stranges pictures, the most common kind being cars magically cut halfway through. Strange indeed, but not as creepy as your ghost :-)

These kinds of filthy, disgusting practices have always infuriated me as well. As a European customer, I hate being forced to subsidize the American one; and as someone who routinely uses English, not being able to choose my preferred language over French feels even worse.

As for ordering video games, have you ever tried Play-Asia (http://www.play-asia.com)? I've bought a fair share of my DS games from them, in their US/Japanese version. And in some cases, the whole ordering + shipping process was less expensive than buying the French/European version. The only downside is that it takes quite some time for the games to reach their destination (usually two weeks for me). I admit I don't really know if they are offering PC games as well, but I should look into the matter during my next ordering round :-)

@Too : Oui, TeX. Sauf quand tu dois justement envoyer tes notes maintenant, avant d'avoir fini ton stage et donc forcément avant d'avoir reçu un relevé de notes qui n'a pas la mention "Ajourné"... En particulier (mais pas seulement) quand tu dois les envoyer à la place d'une attestation de diplôme que tu ne peux pas obtenir avant d'avoir validé ton année. Est-ce une impression ou est-ce que ça se mord la queue? ^^'

@Natrem : Ah, ils n'ont pas d'excuse? Pourquoi, un if, c'est pas cher? <voix de Bachelot> Ah bon? </voix de Bachelot> ;)

J'ai eu le même relevé de notes.
Il en renvoi un en septembre normalement.
Donc il n'y a rien a expliquer quand on demande tes notes, faut juste envoyer le bon relevé :)

Je ne suis pas malade. Je ne pourrais pas décemment parler en anglais de mon relevé de notes en français ^^

J'aimerais que ce soit ça l'explication... mais j'ai obtenu ce relevé de notes bien avant juin. En avril, si je me souviens bien. Et des gens qui sont en session de juin (contrairement à moi qui ai toujours été en session de septembre) ont eu droit à la même mention Ajourné sur le relevé de notes en ligne (presque imprimé tel quel).

Malheureusement, la seule explication que je vois est la suivante : un if, c'est trop dur.

Rassure-toi, tu es ajournée uniquement parce que tu es une feignasse (j'adore être gentil comme ça xd).
Plus précisément, le PFE doit faire 5 mois pour être validé. Comme tu n'avais pas effectué au moins 4 mois au moment des oraux de juin (pour s'assurer que tu as déjà effectué une part non négligeable de ton travail), tu n'as pas pu être évaluée et donc tu n'as pas de note. La validation de ton diplôme est donc ajournée à la session de septembre.

De toute façon, comme tu étais trop loin pour passer ton oral à Grenoble, tu aurais été ajournée même si tu avais commencé ton PFE début février.

Après, faut juste expliquer ça aux gens qui pourraient te demander ton relevé de notes, mais heureusement les gens connaissent les administrations françaises ^^

C'set hors sujet, mais remarque quand même que mon commentaire est plus long que le post original (image excluse). Moi aussi je dois être malade...

KOTOR, KOTOR II and Mass Effect were written by the same people (Drew Karpyshyn), that's why (I think) I enjoyed all these ;)
I'm definitely waiting for ME2, and maybe I'll have a look at Dragon Age: Origins.
I'm also waiting for Bioshock 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 (hope it'll be better that the first one)

Unless they aren't called "insert-game-like-Duke-Nukem Forever" or "KOTOR Forever" I think there will be no delay, or just small ones ;)

@Too : When I tried to buy on Direct2Drive, they applied a $9 tax... and I couldn't buy it because of "country restrictions". The big save you made by buying on Amazon.co.uk doesn't surprise me... I will definitely compare everything I feel like buying on Amazon.fr with the equivalent on Amazon.co.uk starting now ^^

@Atarun : I'm truly sorry if my post wasn't very clear: I do know that you don't care about translation, and the more it goes the more it's the same for me.
But retailers will tell us it's no good for the market, at least for their profit. You know, only a few people want to buy original version so why bother them with that? (I really heard that) Just bare with this expensive translation, they know what it good for us !
